Capturing Memories

Hi, I am Jassy, the photographer behind Jassymarie Photography. I have always been drawn to the emotional depth of a single image and the way photographs allow us to hold onto moments long after they have passed. To me, photography is more than documentation. It is a way of preserving connection, memory, and meaning.

WHAT I LOVE TO CAPTURE

I photograph a wide range of meaningful moments and aim to create a comfortable, welcoming experience for every session. My work includes family and senior portraits, creative sessions, and celebrations of love in all forms, with a focus on elopements and small, intimate weddings when it comes to wedding coverage. No matter the session type, my approach is rooted in connection, ease, and intention.

I am drawn to moments that feel personal and genuine, whether that is a quiet creative session, a family milestone, or an intimate celebration. My goal is always to document your story in a way that feels natural, thoughtful, and true to you.

My Approach

I take a calm, intentional approach to photography, focusing on genuine connection and honest moments. Alongside photography, I show up with empathy, care, and a deep respect for each person’s story. I believe being truly seen is powerful, and I bring that understanding into every session. Everyone is welcome and accepted in front of my camera.

A Little About Me

I was born and raised in New Mexico, where open skies, soft desert light, and wide landscapes have always felt like home. I still live in New Mexico with my wife and 6 fur babies. I am currently earning my master’s degree in counseling through a graduate program, a path that continues to shape how I listen, connect, and show up for others. I love learning, reading, and exploring new interests. I am a lover of all animals, most genres of music and a good T.V series. As a child, I visited Massachusetts a few times, and I feel most at ease near the ocean, especially at the beaches in San Diego whenever I have the chance to visit.

Why Photography Matters to Me

Photographs are often the only tangible pieces we get to carry forward as time moves on. My goal is to create images that feel honest, refined, and lasting. Every session is designed to feel relaxed, elevated, and personal, so we can create something meaningful together.
